The Hallows song, Heroine Queen, is about how our concept of love changes as we grow older. I wanted to represent royalty (from the song title) and childhood in a way that people of my generation would instantly recognize. My idea was to suspend a crown (from a popular 90’s princess game) in mid air and photograph it. Using fishing wire and bookcases, I strung the crown up in my dining room. Gary Weissmann came through with the photography and we collaborated on the design of the cover. Listen on iTunes.
